Marc Jacobs Fashion show and art exhibition

Concept

The main mood of the fashion show is created using the Gesaffelstein audio track.

The concept of this series of illustrations is to create an interactive and dynamic art runway. The atmosphere of the show is conveyed only with the help of dynamics and play with details with minimal artistic intervention.

Animation is divided in 3 parts:

Intro MJ.1 MJ.2

Intro - Character 1

Each part of the animation begins with an illustration in monochrome to intrigue the viewer. The blue model was the first to walk the runway.

MJ.1 - Character 1

The blue character has already finished its runway in the “Intro part“, but something went wrong and they collated with a model of the 2nd part.

Part of this animation gives us a feeling of tension, and conflict due to the music and effects.

MJ.2 - Character 2

Character 3 has a live accessorise. It makes a viewer a little bit confused about who is real main character of the part.

Inspiration

Illustrations were inspired by real Marc Jacobs ready-to-wear runway 2021/2022.
